Client Worksheet

I put together this handy worksheet to help you capture your vision for a project. Think of this document as a business plan for a creative enterprise. The more information you can send along, the better I will be able to respond. Please answer each question in a clear and concise manner, and skip any questions that you are unsure about. If there are a number of people responsible for this project, I recommend completing this worksheet as a group. That way I will not miss any important opinions.

What is the overall goal of this new project?What are your target market’s demographics? e.g. the age, gender, income, tastes, views, attitudes, employment, geography, lifestyle of those you want to reach. If you have multiple audiences, rank them in terms of importance. What initial text and pictures are needed for this project? Who will be providing this information? Have you got a benchmark in mind? You should provide some examples of what you consider to be effective or relevant work, even if it is from your competitors. Also provide a list of things not to do, and styles that you do not like to see in the completed work. This will give the me some idea of what to avoid. What Is Your Budget? Providing a budget prevents wasting valuable time and resources when trying to maximise your budget. What is the time scale / deadline?
